The technical analysis of the USDCHF price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows USDCHF,H4 has breached below the 200-period moving average MA(200) which is tilting down itself. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower bound of the Donchian channel at 0.8982. A level below this can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 0.9033. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved to the next fractal high indicator, following Parabolic signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level without reaching the order, we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Swiss consumer price index remained unchanged in June. Will the USDCHF price retreating continue?
Swiss consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged in June. Federal Statistics Office reported CPI was flat, after 0.3% over month growth in May when 0.1% growth was forecast. Consumer prices rose 1.3% from a year ago in June, down from May’s 1.4%, which was the fastest rise this year. The slowdown was due to a 0.2% annual decline in the cost of goods, while services were up 2.4%. Lower than forecast consumer inflation is bearish for Swiss franc and bullish for USDCHF. However, the current setup is bearish for the pair.
